Antique English Regency / William IV Set of Six 6 Cuban mahogany Bar Back Dining Chairs (Circa 1830)
This is a fine quality antique English set of six William IV dining chairs, constructed of solid cuban mahogany with upholstered drop in seat pads, circa 1830, in excellent professionally French polished condition.
These sturdy antique dining chairs are designed with an attractive hand carved bar back, with a pierced splat below, and rare to see front and back sabre legs. The quality of these chairs is outstanding and they date from around 1850.
The drop in seats have been completely restored with new frames and brand new natural colour faux linen upholstery. to sit on. The upholstery is new. The frames have been sympatheticly stripped and refinished with a traditional French polish. They are in beautiful condition. There are some small repairs to splits in the frame but nothing major. Please see pictures for any obvious wear or defects.
