This mid century dining set dates from around the late 1970s. It’s is a repro of those produced by the Hungarian designer Marcel Breuer. The chairs have gold colour steel tubular frame with a fabric seat and backrest. The set comes with the four chairs and a lovely octagonal shaped tulip legged table. The table has a smoked glass frameless octagonal top and set on curved gold colour tubular legs. this is a lovely set that’s getting harder to find as complete.
The dining set is in original condition and does show signs of wear and tear. No damage but the gold colouring has some fading and wear shown in the pictures. There is no damage to the original fabric. There are a few tiny stains to the fabric. The table glass has one small chip on the underneath edge and another further in underneath. The table shows some surface scratches but really is minimal for the age. Overall the set is 8 out of 10 for condition and this set would make a lovely addition to anyone’s home.
