This is a G Plan Sideboard from the earlier Brasilia Range. This is G Plan’s range that pre dates the most popular G Plan Fresco range. This sideboard has wonderful solid teak grab handles and light teak grain veneer. This model is sought after and has a very high build quality. This mid century sideboard has very Danish influence to the minimal styling. There is a double cupboards next to a bank or 4 drawers with the top lined for cutlery. To the end there is a drop down drinks cabinet section with internal shelf. This is all on top of stunning solid afromosia turned legs. This has great proportions, stunning design and top quality craftsmanship. This all adds up to a stunning sideboard that will make a great impact to anyone’s retro themed home.
This sideboard is in stunning vintage condition, the cabinet has been cleaned back and finished with a multiple layers of hard wax oil. As with most mid century furniture, there will be signs of prior use, but nothing to detract from how fabulous this sideboard looks. There is very minimal signs of use and only noticeable defect is the slight light marks to the top. Overall this is a high 8.5 out of 10 for Condition. This is an impressive looking and well built peice of original mid century furniture.
