Stunning large extending teak dining table by Danish brand Skovby. This table dates from the mid century and dates to around the 1970s. This is made from a teak veneer with solid teak frame, edging and legs. The build quality is very good as with most Skovby furniture and has a very solid feel. The table has a sleek typical Scandinavian design and a very practical layout. The table comes with extension leaves that allow to sit 10-12 people. The table is a slight oval shape and has lovey ergonomic shaped edge around the veneer top surface.
The table has been cleaned and rubbed back. It has then completely refinished in multiple coats of Osmo hard wax oil. This has restored the shine and protection to the teak wood. The table top shows minimal use and is very clean all over. The legs and frame are also in great condition and overall the table is 8.5 out of 10. The leaves are very clean and look hardly ever used.
