Rarely seen, matching set of 1960s Lurashell “Angelina” Pod chairs. This 1960’s seating was designed by Walter S Chenery for Lurashell. The shell is made of black fibreglass and has original patterned covers. The chairs have beech trestle legs in a stylish half-moon shape that splays out onto two feet each side. This is a super stylish iconic Mid Century lounge suite which comprises of two matching armchairs. The fabric is a light green with black patterns that is very typical of the Mid Century.
The condition of the set is very clean. They covers have been removed and washed and the leg frames have been re polished. There are some small feint marks to one armchair. These are hard to notice and are shown in the pictures. The foam and fibreglass are in great condition.
