Here is a beautiful early Ercol plank table made from solid elm. The table is a blonde light colour and has been upcycled with the addition of the hairpin legs to really gives the table a modern mid century look. This is the standard plank table and can sit 6 ercol chairs around it quite easily. This table has a wonderful patina and very nice swirly grains to make it stand out.
The original legs were removed and the top has been fully stripped back. This has then been refinihsed to show the stunning grains of the fabulous elm planks. Then has been finished with several coats of Danish Oil to enhance the grain, and finally waxed to give maximum protection and a fabulous shine. Set on three pronged coated steel Hairpin Legs gives the piece a more minimalist, industrial look. The table is in stunning condition and would fit very well in a contemporary dining area
