This mid century Beautility Sideboard dates from around the late 50s to early 60s. Beautility is a English furniture manufacturer and was renowned for making sideboards and cocktail cabinets from pre war to the late mid century.
The sideboard features a lovely reeded design and super stylish wooden angled legs. The sideboard consists of a bank of three drawers and a large double cupboard with shelf. There is a drop down cocktail cabinet at the end. The drawers have stunning sleek integrated handles and the doors have matching angular wooden handles. The build quality is good and the sideboard has a unique style and look to it.
The sideboard has been cleaned back. The unit has then been french polished. This has given a deep high shine to the lovely smooth veneer and darker wood. This is a lovely example of a well looked after piece of mid century furniture. The cabinet shows use and minimal marks and damage. There is no damage or major defects. The overall condition is a high 8 out of 10.
