This matching pair of retro side tables date to the late 1960s. These are from the big American furniture brand of Drexel. These are part of the Esperanto Heritage range and have the geometric shape. They have a lovely hexagonal shape with stunning top grains and starburst veneer pattern. They have interesting bottom supports that are more of a traditional design with the carved out shapes. They are very well made and made from a oak style wood. Very rare model and very hard to get as matching pair. Would fit well in a traditional home or a retro inspired living area. Wonderful tables that have made it here all the way from the US.
They have been cleaned and rubbed back. They have then been refinished in buffing wax and polished. This has given the tables an enhanced protection to the wood and a deep shine to the lovey grains. They do show some use and any defects are shown in the pictures. Overall they are a 8 out of 10.
