This stunning sideboard is from the early part of the mid century. We are unsure of the brand but it’s very high quality and has lovely walnut veneer. It’s a British made item and is similar to beautility and lebus but with excellent build quality. The most unique part of this sideboard is the pull out drinks bar storage. Either side has a slide out compartment for bottles and glasses and with a Formica top. The cabinet also has a large bi folding door along with a single door that open up a storage area with a shelf. There is a bank of three drawers above with one being lined with felt. This sideboard is on top of very stylish angled legs that set this off to be a stunning and very practical item.
The sideboard has been cleaned and rubbed back thoroughly. The unit has then been refinished in a darker buffing wax. This has enhanced the original finish abd given a deep shine to the lovely walnut veneer. There are some marks and wear in line with age. The varnish shows some crazing which I have shown in the pictures. There is no damage or major defects. The overall condition is a 7.5 out of 10.
