This is a unusual model sideboard from the English brand William Bartlett Strongbow Furniture. This sideboard dates from around the early part of the 1950s. The sideboard is made to a great standard and similar to Alfred cox and Gordon Russell sideboards in design and quality. It has a wonderful marquetry design to each door along with Bakelite handles. This has a very strong vintage charm and also very practical with plenty of storage. The drawers are made from a sold wood that has been shaped into a wave style front along with matching grab handles. This sideboard is a strong mix of retro style along with arts and crafts and Art Deco design elements.  This sideboard has cupboard doors at either end and a central bank of three drawers.

The sideboard has been completely stripped back to the wood and refinished with a french polish. This has given a nice deep shine to the wood and brought out the reddish teak colour while protecting the wood. The sideboard shows minimal signs of use and is damage free. There are some very light marks on the top and side but overall very clean item. A 8.5 out 10 for condition and would make a statement in anyones home.
