This is a very rare coffee table by A. Younger. This is part of a range designed by John Herbert and dates from the late 1950s. Younger are renowned for its high end, quality British furniture. This coffee table is constructed out of solid afromosia and has a floating top design. The coffee table has a low sleek and very simplistic danish influenced design. The sleek up turned ends really set this table off with the floating top design and long tapered legs. A simply stunning item of exceptional quality.
This coffee table has been cleaned down and then refinished in a hard wax oil to give protection and a deep shine to the afromosia and teak wood. The condition is stunning and overall they are a 8 out of 10. There are minimal signs of previous use and are a a very well looked after item of retro furniture. Very clean top and legs with no defects or significant marks. There is a old split on one legs that has been reglued and filled (shown in the pictures)
