This is a beautiful plank table, designed by John Herbert for Younger. This table is part of the Fonseca range. Younger furniture is quite rare, and finding this model in such great shape It's made from solid afromosia and teak wood and was crafted between the 1950s and 60s.
This table has a simple and elegant design, and it's exceptionally well-made, sure to become a future antique. Younger was known for their high-quality work and was mainly sold at the 'Heals' department store.
We've taken great care of this table. It's been thoroughly cleaned and the top surface has been stripped and then treated with hardwax oil and wax polish to protect its lovely wood.
